The Polaris exchangers are available in standard plate/frame
configurations as well as in ‘brazed,’
semi-welded, and wide-gap designs. The units use
a patented plate locking design to insure secure
plate fitting during the critical tightening process.
The wide variety of designs provides potential
applications in the food industry, fresh water
distilling, heat recovery, and for viscous liquids.
Close temperature approaches are delivered using
a true countercurrent flow.
Venting between hot and cold circuits allow for
any leakage to go to atmosphere, eliminating cross-contamination
fluids.
Components are stocked in Kentucky for rapid
response to customers’ needs.
